Terms of Use
What VettedQuote is
VettedQuote is a free matching service operated by Datonix LTD, operating as Tenx Ads. We connect homeowners who request quotes with home improvement contractors and, for areas or services we do not serve directly, with our marketing partners. You pay us nothing to use it.
We are not a contractor. We do not perform, supervise, insure, or warrant any work on your home. Any contract for the work is between you and the contractor you choose.
What we do not guarantee
- That a contractor will be available for your project or your area.
- That you will receive a quote, or any particular price.
- The quality, safety, legality, timing, or outcome of any work a contractor performs.
We screen contractors in our network for things like license, insurance, and complaint history when we onboard them, but they are independent businesses and their status can change. Always confirm a contractor's current license and insurance yourself before you sign or pay anything.
Your responsibilities
- Give accurate information about yourself and the project.
- Only submit a request if you own the home or have the owner's authority to arrange the work.
- Vet the quote and the contract yourself. The hiring decision, and the contract, are yours.
- Use the site normally. No scraping, fake submissions, or interference.
Calls, texts, and consent
Our forms include a consent checkbox. If you check it, you give prior express written consent under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and state telemarketing laws for VettedQuote, a matched local pro, and the parties on our Partner List to call and text you as described next to the checkbox, including with automated technology and AI voice. Checking the box is never a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, HELP for help, or tell us on any call. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
Limitation of liability and dispute resolution
Governing law
Datonix LTD is an Israeli company. Regardless of any governing law clause, the US consumer protection laws that apply to you, including the TCPA, state telemarketing laws such as the Florida Telephone Solicitation Act, and state privacy laws such as the CCPA/CPRA, govern our contact with US consumers and we honor them. The final governing law and venue clause will be set by external counsel. TODO: external counsel to confirm governing law and venue
